"Money is the root of all evil" or is it?

We've all heard this saying, but let's clarify this. Money in itself is not 'bad'. Money is a tool, a medium of exchange for goods and services. Money is a magnification of the qualities of its possessor. If the possessor is good, it magnifies the good. If the possessor is bad, it magnifies the bad.
The most wonderful thing about money is that it is quite often an accurate gauge of our personal production and service. As a working person, it is important to remember that the monies you receive is directly proportional to:
The Demand of what you do
The Ability to do what you do
The Difficulty in replacing you,
And it is the only reward that is completely negotiable ie. up to you to work and bargain for.
Many people confuse the Cause and Effect of things. How often have you heard people say "If only the company paid us more, we would put in more work." Wrong.
Instead it should be "If we put in more effort than what the company pays us for, the company will match our salary to output accordingly, in due time." If they don't, you can bet for sure that another firm will willingly match your salary for the extra production you give.
Thus begs the question of how can one improve the production and/or service of oneself, such that the demand for it/them becomes as valuable as the rewards and income that one seeks?
That, my friends, is the correct question to ask.
